Pittsburgh Wedding | Amanda Garvin Photography

Mr. & Mrs. Balzer

Drew and Krista had a wonderful wedding celebration in Pittsburgh, PA. The day before their wedding was exceptionally warm and sunny, their wedding day was not. The day of the Balzer wedding was cold, windy and rainy. The rain did however subside for their nuptials overlooking the city at St. Mary's of the Mount in Mount Washington.

Fast forward an hour or so as we sneak to the rooftop of Hotel Monaco in downtown, not only did it stop raining, the wedding party had their own personal blizzard for about 10 minutes. It made for a beautiful backdrop high atop the city. Hotel Monaco was a perfect setting for Drew and Krista's classic, yet modern style.

Jeff and I loved being a part of this amazing celebration of love. The Herald and Balzer family and friends are so kind and loving. Drew and Krista have impeccable taste and style.

Growing Family | WV Photographer

The Pennington family is now a family of 5! The newest family member is a boy, with two big sisters that love him very much. I truly enjoy visiting families at home after they give birth, everyone is there and gets to take part in the session, even the Pennington cats were checking me out. I also love seeing how the kids grow each year. I can't wait to see this little guy a year from now, romping around with his sisters.

Cheers,

Amanda

Fall Sunset Session

One thing I love about photographing families is getting to watch babies grow! I cannot believe how much Addison has already grown since her newborn session. Addison didn't remember that we go way back to her first days at home and gave me the most adorable frown for the first 10 minutes of our session. I eventually won her over with my silly noises and jumping around like a crazy person. Mom pulled out the best of smiles by promising bubble baths. I can't wait to see this sweet family again :)
