Modern Headshots | WV Portrait Photographer

I recently had the pleasure of updating Hillary's headshots for her, as you can see she is stunning! I can tell you that she is just as wonderful on the outside as she is on the inside. Hillary volunteers much of her time to making other people's life better. She is the founder of the Food Recovery Network (FRN) at WVU, an organization that began two and a half years ago. She has been running this organization for two and a half years. This is a campus chapter that is working to reduce food waste at colleges and in communities. The chapter works with a local farm, a couple of Morgantown businesses, and WVU dining to transport leftover food to charities in the area. In the past two and a half years we have recovered over 5,000 meals, all of which would have otherwise gone to waste. The idea of food recovery temporarily tackles the issue of hunger while trying to help businesses become more environmentally conscious. You can find out more at https://iserve.wvu.edu/agency/detail/?agency_id=53122

Im excited to see what the future holds for Hillary and can't wait to take her first official campaign headshot in the future!

Cheers,

Amanda

Growing Family | WV Photographer

The Shapiro family has a new addition, Miss Ivy. She is as sweet as peach pie and kept her eyes on me during the entire in home session! She was so alert, I thought she may just start chatting with me while I was taking photographs.

I really love these in home sessions. I hope that it takes some of the strain off of families and allows them to relax and feel at ease. I have photographed the Shapiro family three times now and they are so kind, caring and fun. As you can see, big brother is a natural. Avi is handsome, has a great smile, and is wonderful with his little sisters!

Something I love to do during family sessions is get the kids involved in taking a picture. Eve was not a big fan of sitting still no matter how many marshmallows we had given her, but she was super excited to push the button to snap the photo. So the picture above of Dad, Avi and Ivy was proudly taken by Miss Eve and is one of my favorites!

I can never leave out the family pets!

Cheers, Amanda

Twins | WV Photographer

The Skidmore family has doubled in size with the addition of twins! Not one, but two bundles of baby boy joy. I had the pleasure of visiting Chris, Katie, their adorable new sons, plus two kitties and a puppy. Babies and fur-babies, what could be better?

Greyson and Anthony already are rocking their individuality. Anthony has a full head of dark hair and is clearly Italian, while Greyson has much lighter skin tone and hair. Greyson is also a big fan of stretching. He gave my swaddles a run for their money. Mom and dad seemed so natural already and all the fur-babies were happy to jump in with their new siblings.

I can't wait to see these handsome boys as they grow, just not too fast!

Cheers, Amanda
